Setting expectations
What TowConnect does
TowConnect is the connection between you and the provider. We don't own trucks or storage yards, or employ drivers.
The participating provider is responsible for delivering the service and dealing with you about availability, pricing and payment. This keeps the process simple and transparent.

Common questions
Do I need a membership?
No. You don't need to join a roadside assistance plan or sign up for anything before you request help through TowConnect.
Is this a live dispatch service?
Not yet. Right now, TowConnect passes your request to a participating provider covering your area, and they contact you directly to confirm and arrange the job. It isn't an automatic real-time booking system.
How quickly will I hear back?
Response times depend on the provider covering your area. If your situation is urgent, please also call a local provider directly.
Do I need to pay anything on this site?
No. Requesting help through TowConnect is free and doesn't require payment. Any cost for the service itself is agreed directly between you and the provider.
What areas does TowConnect cover?
We're bringing on towing, storage and roadside assistance providers across New Zealand. Coverage will grow as more providers join TowConnect.
