Terms of Use

These are first-draft terms for TowConnect's early website and are still to be reviewed. Last updated: October 2026.

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What TowConnect is

TowConnect is a connection service for towing, roadside assistance and vehicle storage. We pass requests from drivers to independent, participating providers. We don't own or operate tow trucks or storage yards, and we aren't a towing company, roadside assistance provider or emergency service.

Requesting help

• Submitting a request is free and doesn't create a booking or contract.
• We'll try to pass your request to a provider covering your area, but we can't guarantee that a provider will be available, or how quickly they'll respond.
• Any price, payment, timing and terms for the service are agreed directly between you and the provider. The provider is responsible for the service it provides.
• If you or anyone else is in danger, call 111. Don't rely on this website in an emergency.

Registering as a partner

Registering your interest as a partner doesn't create an agreement between you and TowConnect. Any partnership will be subject to separate terms agreed with you.

Your responsibilities

• Give accurate information when you submit a form.
• Don't submit false, misleading or spam requests.
• Don't misuse or attempt to interfere with the website.

Liability

We provide this website "as is". To the extent permitted by law, TowConnect isn't liable for any loss arising from your use of the website or from services delivered by providers. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other New Zealand law that can't be excluded.

Privacy

How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time. These terms are governed by New Zealand law.
